PC-based solution now provides bi-directional diagnostic support for Hino engines, transmissions and braking systems

NEXIQ Technologies® recently announced the release of eTechnician 2.8, enabling the latest bi-directional diagnostic support for Hino Trucks.

This upgrade directly benefits medium- and heavy-duty truck repair operations, which now can program injector codes for MY 07 to 2021 engines. This includes the capacity to program maximum vehicle speed and idle shutdown settings.

Beyond the newly added diagnostic capabilities for Hino Trucks, eTechnician 2.8 also provides proprietary transmission and brake support for Hino cab-over models.

Technicians will especially appreciate the fact that this new software update provides “dealer-level diagnostics” (aka OEM functionality) in that it can execute the same diagnostic tasks a dealership can perform.
